The Department of Math and Natural Sciences at the American university of Kuwait invites applications for a faculty position in Mathematics. Rank open. Preferred candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics from an American or American-style university. Exceptional candidates with a master’s degree in Mathematics and a strong record of university-level teaching, service, and professional development will also be considered.
Responsibilities
– Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching, effective communication skills, and the ability to motivate and engage undergraduate students. The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses in Mathematics and Statistics.
– Faculty responsibilities include teaching, conducting research, and providing service to the Department, College, and University. Experience teaching in a liberal arts institution and a record of multidisciplinary research are highly desirable.
