CCDS is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team for a one-year, project-based contract in Sohar, Oman.
Employment Details:

- Contract Type: One-year project-based contract
- Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions
- Administer and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security products
- Monitor network performance, security events, and potential threats
- Implement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rules
- Investigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutions
- Perform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviews
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational reports
- Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirements
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven professional experience in network security engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions
- Solid experience with Fortinet technologies
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work full-time and on-site in Sohar, Oman
Mandatory Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Fortinet NSE 7
