Job Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Functional Consultant - Cybersecurity to act as a Resident Engineer who will deploy and manage the cybersecurity awareness platform. This role involves understanding customer business needs and technical requirements, demonstrating how our solutions can address those needs, and building strong technical relationships to deliver the solution. The resource will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between the technical capabilities of our offerings and the business value we deliver to clients.
Key Responsibilities
The Functional Consultant will support the analysis of business requirements, assist in translating them into functional solutions, and work closely with technical teams to ensure successful system implementation. The role involves client coordination, documentation, user support, and continuous learning to deliver effective and quality-driven solutions.
Security Awareness Platform Management
- Administer and manage Security Awareness and Simulation Platforms such as configuring awareness campaigns, phishing simulations, user groups, reporting dashboards, and automation workflows.
- Monitor platform performance, user participation, and campaign effectiveness.
- Manage platform vendors and support platform upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure integration of awareness platforms with enterprise systems where applicable.
Reporting and Analytics
- Create & analyze awareness dashboards and executive reports.
- Analyze campaign results, employee engagement, training completion, and phishing simulation performance.
Client Communication
- Maintain professional communication with clients under guidance.
- Support in sharing updates and addressing routine queries.
Quality Assurance Support
- Participate in testing activities to ensure delivered solutions meet functional requirements and quality standards.
Post-Implementation Support
- Assist in providing support after system implementation.
- Help log issues, gather user feedback, and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
Training and Support
- Assist in conducting user training sessions for end-users.
- Provide basic post-training support to help users adopt new systems or processes.
Knowledge Transfer
- Support knowledge-sharing activities with client teams or internal stakeholders to ensure smooth system usage.
Collaboration
- Work closely with developers and technical teams to understand system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a Relevant Discipline
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to understand customer business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building strong relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in security engineering and functional/technical consulting roles
