CCDS is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team for a one-year, project-based contract in Sohar, Oman.
Employment Details:
– Location: Sohar, Oman
– Contract Type: One-year project-based contract
– Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site
Key Responsibilities:
– Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions
– Administer and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security products
– Monitor network performance, security events, and potential threats
– Implement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rules
– Investigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutions
– Perform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviews
– Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational reports
– Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirements
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline
– Proven professional experience in network security engineering
– Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions
– Solid experience with Fortinet technologies
– Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management
– Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
– Ability to work full-time and on-site in Sohar, Oman
Mandatory Certifications:
– Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
– Fortinet NSE 7
