Job Description
Strategy
– Develop and update preventive and corrective maintenance plans, prioritizing defects by safety, urgency, and customer impact.
– Coordinate tender documents and technical specifications with internal teams and external agencies.
– Allocate workloads, manage leave and training, and monitor staff performance to ensure targets are achieved.
Operations
– Supervise outsourced contractors; review and approve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual work programs to ensure specification compliance.
– Review inspection reports, certify snag lists, and lead defect liability and substantial completion inspections.
– Approve payment schedules and contractor invoices, verifying accuracy against completed works.
– Ensure maintenance data and progress reports are recorded in systems for tracking and future reference.
– Follow up on asphalt, unpaved road, sidewalk, and track maintenance or improvement works to confirm timely completion.
– Implement modifications and road improvements requested to enhance traffic safety.
Product / Process Improvement
– Analyze contractor performance and maintenance data; recommend program or specification adjustments to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
– Physical Working Conditions
– Conduct periodic site visits to active road maintenance sites to verify work quality and safety compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in Engineering
Experience: 3+ year in case of Master’s degree (5+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree) in related field
Qualification: Certifications such as PMP; ACI/Asphalt QC certified
