Role Overview
The Product Manager is one of the main point persons throughout the entire product lifecycle, from the product strategy phase to the go-to-market stage. You will work directly with the Product Lead in developing a roadmap for the Product team, ensuring seamless product functionality, deciding on backlog prioritization, and taking the product vision toward completion. Your role will also involve multiple cross-functional responsibilities. You will closely collaborate with the Tech and other stake holders and take into consideration their internal input and feedback from external partners.
Responsibilities
– Creating or further developing product innovations, considering a clear outline that meets the requirements of internal stakeholders and customers
– Outlining clear product objectives and key results and communicating a product roadmap to appropriate parties
– Gaining a deep understanding of customer experience in order to identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth
– Writing product feature requirements and preparing related material
– Working closely with Qashio’s Tech team to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources
– Implementing a streamlined product launch; this might include working with Management, Public Relations, and other product management team members
– Representing Qashio in face-to-face interactions with customers to solicit feedback on our products and services
– Collaborating with other internal teams in an agile environment and in compliance with stipulated timelines
– Participating and contributing to regular team sprints and stand-ups
Qualifications and Experience
– 6+ years of experience in product management or leadership, or software engineering in a B2B SaaS environment
– Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
– Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in software development.
– Strong problem-solving skills; can-do attitude and proactive mindset in getting to the root of an issue and coming up with efficient and innovative solutions
– Proficiency in processes and technologies/tools like
– Proven experience in SaaS Product management
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
– Demonstrated experience, exposure, and interest in the fintech space. Having worked with a fintech company will be a big advantage.
– A good understanding of accounting and expense management systems
– Previous experience working with Jira
– Familiarity with collaboration and communication tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Teams, Asana, etc.
