SURFBASE | Full-time | AED 6,000–8,000 per month
SURFBASE is developing an indoor surfing, sport, retail and hospitality destination in Dubai. We are looking for a practical legal professional who can handle everyday legal work, keep documents and deadlines under control, and move matters towards a clear outcome.
You will work closely with the founder and the operations, construction and finance teams. This role offers responsibility across a growing business and suits someone who enjoys taking ownership in a small team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including supplier, service, construction and property-related documents.
• Support corporate administration and investor documentation; check records for inconsistencies and coordinate missing documents, signatures and approvals.
• Maintain a reliable calendar of licences, renewals, contractual deadlines and corporate actions.
• Prepare clear correspondence on contractual issues and disputes, organise supporting evidence and coordinate external advisers when specialist input is needed.
• Give management concise advice: the issue, its business impact, the available options and your recommendation.
• Handle HR administration for up to 20% of the role: employment paperwork, onboarding and offboarding documents, personnel records and routine deadline tracking.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• A law degree and practical experience with commercial contracts and corporate documentation.
• Strong business English, including drafting emails and discussing contract terms.
• Initiative, attention to detail and the ability to manage several matters without repeated reminders.
• Sound judgment about what you can resolve independently and what requires further research, management approval or specialist advice.
• Comfortable using AI tools while checking facts, sources and final wording.
• UAE experience is desirable, particularly in local corporate administration and commercial matters. Russian is an advantage.
SALARY AND SELECTION
The salary budget is AED 6,000–8,000 per month for a full-time position, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated skills. Please apply if this range matches your expectations.
Our selection process includes a brief initial conversation, a practical case for shortlisted candidates and a discussion of your reasoning. We value clear, workable decisions and reliable follow-through.
Apply through LinkedIn with your CV. In a short note, tell us about one legal matter you personally helped bring to a concrete outcome, your relevant UAE experience and your earliest available start date. Please avoid sharing confidential client documents.
