Are you a commercial lawyer who wants to be the first legal hire in a technology business expanding across the GCC?
A fast growing AI powered smart mobility company based in Dubai has gone from a handful of pilot sites to hundreds of live locations across the UAE in under two years, backed by major real estate and infrastructure partnerships and genuine, working AI technology.
Contracts with developers, malls, hospitals, hotels, airports and government entities are being signed at pace, and the company is now moving into Qatar and Saudi Arabia. It needs its own in house legal counsel to protect that growth.
What’s in it for you?
– Salary of AED 35,000 per month
– The first dedicated legal hire, with the standard contractual positions, templates and playbooks yours to write
– Reporting into the CEO and CFO, working directly with senior leadership on live commercial deals
– Real involvement in GCC expansion, new entities, joint ventures and strategic partnerships
– Interesting technology work across AI, ANPR, payment systems and platform integrations
What will you be doing?
– Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, landlords, developers and government entities
– Negotiating revenue share, minimum guarantee and management fee structures, and the SLAs, liability, indemnity and termination provisions that sit around them
– Handling technology agreements covering AI and ANPR systems, hardware, software, cloud platforms, integrations and payments, and protecting the company’s intellectual property
– Supporting expansion into Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other GCC markets, advising on local requirements and coordinating external counsel
– Building the legal infrastructure from scratch, including standard positions, negotiation playbooks, templates and a central contract repository
– Tracking contractual obligations, renewals, notices and termination dates, and flagging recurring risk to the business
What do you need?
– 6 to 10 years post-qualification experience (Flexible for the right experience)
– Strong UAE and GCC commercial legal experience
– A real commercial contract negotiation background, not purely advisory work
– In house experience in technology, infrastructure, mobility, SaaS or facilities management is a bonus
– Comfortable translating legal risk into practical commercial advice for executives
– Fluent Arabic and English
– Based in Dubai and this is an onsite role
