Role Description The English Language Teacher will work on-site in Kuwait City in a full-time capacity, supporting young children in developing foundational English language skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate English lessons, introducing basic vocabulary and sentence structures, and integrating language learning into play, stories, songs, and classroom routines. The teacher will observe and assess children’s progress, adapt teaching materials to diverse learning needs, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Additional tasks include preparing lesson resources, collaborating with nursery staff, communicating with families about children’s development, and ensuring adherence to nursery policies and child safeguarding standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience supporting early years learners.
- Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education skills to design engaging, age-appropriate language activities.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, colleagues, and families.
- Relevant qualifications in English, Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in nursery or early childhood settings and familiarity with child-centered, play-based learning approaches are beneficial.
- Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom, manage groups of young children safely, and follow safeguarding guidelines is essential.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary nursery team are advantageous.
