Mandatory requirements:
– Focus is on Omanization.
– Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or information security.
– Experience in implementing, configuring, administering, and supporting enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
– Hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies, including but not limited to:
– – Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
– – Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
– – Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
– – Identity and Access Management (IAM)
– – Privileged Access Management (PAM)
– – Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
– – Network Access Control (NAC)
– – Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
– – Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
– – Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
– – Vulnerability Management solutions
– Experience in security monitoring, incident detection and response, vulnerability assessment, troubleshooting, and day-to-day security operations.
– Working knowledge of recognized cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including ISO/IEC 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), CIS Controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
– Ability to work effectively within a Security Operations Center (SOC), cybersecurity project teams, and managed security services environments.
Preferred requirements:
– Professional certifications are preferred, including CompTIA Security+, CEH, Microsoft SC-200, Microsoft SC-300, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, Splunk Core Certified User/Power User, or equivalent vendor-specific certifications.
