Akbar Academy is a premium IGCSE and A Level education provider based in Kuwait, teaching students across the GCC.
We are looking for an 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔 Level 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 to join our team and teach online.
Our largest student cohort follows 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀, so strong Edexcel experience is particularly important. We also teach 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, and experience across both would be highly desirable. AQA experience would be an additional advantage.

• Exceptional A2 Physics subject knowledge
• Strong Edexcel IAL and/or Cambridge International experience
• An outstanding communicator who can make difficult Physics clear and engaging
• Excellent online teaching and 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
• Confidence using digital whiteboards, annotation, presentations and interactive teaching tools
• Ability to create high-quality digital teaching resources
• Excellent understanding of specifications, examination technique, mark schemes and past papers
• Professional, reliable and highly organised
