Position Summary:
Robert Bird Group is seeking Expressions of Interest for Structural Engineering professionals across multiple seniority levels to support ongoing and upcoming projects across Saudi Arabia.

These roles will focus on the design and delivery of building structures, including high-rise, mixed-use, and complex developments, aligned with major development programs under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

We are building a strong pipeline of talent across multiple levels:

– Principal Structural Engineer
– Senior Structural Engineer
– Design Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Principal Structural Engineer:

– Lead structural design delivery for complex and high-profile building projects
– Provide technical leadership and strategic input across projects
– Manage client relationships and act as a key technical advisor
– Oversee multidisciplinary coordination and ensure integration across design teams
– Drive innovation, digital delivery, and technical excellence
– Mentor and develop engineering teams

Senior Structural Engineer:

– Deliver structural design for buildings from concept through to detailed design
– Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary teams
– Perform analysis, design calculations, and technical reviews
– Support project delivery, timelines, and quality standards
– Assist in mentoring junior engineers

Design Structural Engineer:

– Support structural design and analysis under supervision
– Prepare calculations, reports, and design documentation
– Assist in developing structural models and drawings
– Coordinate with internal teams to support project delivery

Key Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
– Proven experience in building structural design (high-rise, commercial, mixed-use, or complex structures)
– Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, BS)
– Experience working in the Middle East, preferably in KSA
– Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Revit)
– Strong communication and coordination skills

For senior roles:

– Demonstrated leadership in project delivery
– Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
– Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects
