Software OSS Engineer

Job Overview:
To manage complete service fulfilment cycle (Oracle OSS Platform) that enables commercial services and products, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining the system that enhance operational efficiency, ensure service quality, and facilitate scalability within the Oracle system.
Key Responsibilities:

– Providing a complete management of Oracle OSS system in whole project lifecycle, in Analysis, Design, Testing and Implementation, and maintenance.
– Supports work assignments in accordance with departmental or agency objectives; keep an eye on production standards and capabilities and ensures the maintenance of adequate quality and quantity of work.
– Handling the scope related to FT Tx , 5G, Mobile, Fixed services Projects and did proper implementation in Oracle system.
– Design, develop, and maintain Oracle system to the specific needs of network services which can include provisioning, inventory management, work force management, order management and more.
– Ensure that various systems within the network ecosystem can seamlessly integrate with each other. This includes integrating with partner systems and third-party applications.
– Implement automation scripts and processes to streamline network operations, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency
– Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle system to ensure that meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.
– Maintain comprehensive documentation for Oracle system, including system architecture, codebase, APIs, and data structures.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, operations teams, and business analysts, to understand requirements and design/develop solutions that align with business goals including the testing of developed solution.
– Stay up to date with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to Oracle system to keep it competitive and efficient.
– Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle system, including troubleshooting issues, applying updates, and ensuring system availability.
– Oversee the end-to-end release management process, ensuring seamless coordination, testing, and deployment of software updates and enhancements
– Deliver clear and insightful presentations to stakeholders, conveying technical information and project updates effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
– 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle OSS analysis, design, implementation, support, and administration within enterprise or telecom environments.
– Strong expertise in Oracle OSS products, including OSM, SOM, UIM, ASAP, IPSA, OFSC/WFM, TOM, NI, and Design Studio.
– Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or other software development languages.
– Solid experience with Oracle Database, SQL, relational database design, and data analysis.
– Good understanding of telecommunication technologies and services, including FTTx, 5G, Mobile, and Fixed Networks.
– Experience in service provisioning, order management, inventory management, workforce management, and system integrations.
– Hands-on experience with API integrations, automation, testing, deployment, release management, and production support
