QA/QC Engineer – Saudi National

Responsibilities are not limited to:

– Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Quality Management System (QMS).
– Conduct inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
– Prepare, review, and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
– Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality procedures and approved method statements.
– Identify, document, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
– Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams during inspections.
– Review material approvals, shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements from a quality perspective.
– Ensure all testing activities are performed according to approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
– Verify laboratory and field test results for concrete, steel, soil, waterproofing, finishes, and other construction materials.
– Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, records, and quality reports.
– Participate in internal quality audits and assist during external audits.
– Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
– Support project handover by ensuring completion of punch lists and quality documentation.
– Promote continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the project teams.
– Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements during inspection activities.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or any relevant Engineering discipline.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC within construction projects.
– Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high-rise building projects is preferred.
– Experience with a main contractor is highly desirable.
– Good understanding of QA/QC principles and Quality Management Systems.
– Knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and international codes.
– Familiarity with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, IRs, MIRs, NCRs, and material approvals.
