We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Muscat, Oman.
Role Description
The Accountant role in Muscat, Oman is a full-time position, with core responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments and expense records
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable management
• Bank and ledger reconciliation
• Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation
• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding receivables
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding accounts
• Prepare periodic financial reports and management statements
• Support the team with audits and other accounting requirements
Candidate Profile
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
✅ 2–5 years of relevant GCC accounting experience
✅ Good knowledge of GCC VAT and accounting practices
✅ Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
✅ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Good communication and organizational skills
✅ Candidates currently based in the Oman are preferred
