The Opportunity
HEISCO is seeking an accomplished Project Director (Mechanical) to lead the execution of a major project in Kuwait. This is a strategic leadership position for an experienced professional who has successfully delivered large-scale EPC projects and possesses a strong background in mechanical construction, project controls, stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, timely, and profitable delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide overall leadership and direction for the execution of a large-scale mechanical EPC project.
– Ensure project delivery in accordance with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
– Establish and monitor project execution strategies, milestones, and performance objectives.
– Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders.
– Identify and mitigate project risks while driving proactive problem-solving initiatives.
– Oversee commercial, contractual, and operational aspects of project execution.
– Ensure compliance with company procedures, international standards, and client specifications.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
– Minimum 15-20 years of experience in EPC projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Heavy Industrial sectors.
– Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects valued at several hundred million dollars.
– Excellent understanding of project management, construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls.
– Demonstrated success in managing client interfaces and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
